Business’ Owner’s Insights

Starting with 20 years of dealership experience, Alternative Automotive specializes in the technical dealings of automotives. For 20 years, they’ve serviced cars as a husband and wife duo and three technicians. They try to provide a service for Tulsa in such a way that it provides a base for the community. They try to treat people the way that we would want to be treated.

Action COACH Eric Knam: What makes your business special?

Mike: The technical aspect of our business is different, and we’re able to service a lot of older cars. Our niche is trying to find the parts for older vehicles, but we take the time to find the parts.

Eric: Who’s your target market?

Mike: We work on a lot of older and new cars. I come from a large family and see my customers as family members. We service people who’ve been wronged by the industry, and we take the time to help them and gain their trust. We believe that honesty is the best policy.

Eric: It’s been said that smart people learn from their mistakes, and wise people learn from others. What mistakes have you made along the way, and how can other entrepreneurs learn from your experience?

Mike: We give our attention and focus to the cars we deal with. It’s one car and one customer at a time. We believe that honesty is the best policy. That’s just as important in the small details, and in the example you set for your employees.

Eric: What’s the best way for people to get in touch with you?

Mike: They can visit our website: https://www.alternativeautomotivetulsa.com/, Facebook page, or contact us by email: altauto13@gmail.com or phone: 918-832-7740.

Eric: Are there any special deals or offers that you’re offering right now?

Mike: We’re offering a free service to essential front-line workers. Certified doctors, nurses, or any first responder can have their vehicle’s air cleansed in 15-30 minutes. Contact us to learn more about this free service! We’re even offering to pick up your vehicle and return it to you or bring this service to you!
